P J Murphy’s Bakery cares about the health and safety of you, our staff and our community. Like you, we are following the CDC, the World Health Organization and the news for updates and information on the COVID-19 situation, as each day brings new information impacting our lives, our business and our community.
We have heightened all of our precautionary standards and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff. Rigorous health and safety standards and training have always been core to our operations. We follow requirements for safe food handling mandated by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. In addition, during this time of heightened concern, we are regularly sanitizing “high-touch” areas throughout the bakery and work areas; we are washing hands throughout shifts as needed and/or wearing single-use gloves; and we are providing hand sanitizer for customers entering the bakery.
We understand that you and your family will need nourishment during these trying times. We will continue to operate with rigorous attention to being safe and providing a high-quality accessible product. We will be engaging in ongoing strategic planning to implement changes to operations if necessary.
